The first shot type i used is Over-The-Shoulder (OTS). I used this shot for this scene because it made Maya (who was the bully)  look powerful.

The second shot type that i used was Medium Shot (MS). I used this shot to emphasise Maya's aggressive actions towards me. There was no tilt in this shot.

The third shot type that i used was Long Shot (LS). I used this because it made our full bodies visible and it showed plenty of the background which gave a dark, gloomy atmosphere.

The fourth shot i used was also Long Shot (LS) at a high angle.. I used this because it made me look small and weak.

The fifth shot i used was again, a long shot from a high angle to make me look weak and vulnerable.
The sixth shot i used was a Long Shot (LS). I used this because it shows clearly how Maya was chasing after me and you get a clear view of the background.

The seventh show i used was Wise Shot/ Establishing Shot (WS/ES). I used this to introduce a new location.

The eighth show i used was Over-The-Shoulder (OTS). I used this to show from Maya's perspective, what it looked like to watch me commit suicide.

The final shot i used was Over-The-Shoulder (OTS). I used this to show how Maya was looking down on me and to try capture her emotion, which was satisfaction, along with the background.

Science fiction holiday homework

Hitman: Agent 47.

The key information about the film/ media language:
Hitman: Agent 47 fits into the sub-genre experimental science. This is because certain people were experimented on and were turned into agents. They felt no emotion and only new how to kill and destroy. Centers on an elite assassin who was genetically engineered from conception to be the perfect killing machine, and is known only by the last two digits on the bar code tattooed on the back of his neck. He is the culmination of decades of research and forty-six earlier Agent clones -- endowing him with unprecedented strength, speed, stamina and intelligence. His latest target is a mega-corporation that plans to unlock the secret of Agent 47's past to create an army of killers whose powers surpass even his own.

The institution behind the film:
On February 5, 2013, it was reported that 20th Century Fox  was developing a new film based on the Hitman video games. Rupert Friend as agent 47, a secret agent who works for a top secret non-government organization called the International Contracts Agency (known as either the ICA or just the Agency) which carries out the assassinations of high profile targets worldwide. Jesse Hergt as young Agent 47. Hannah Ware as Katia van Dees, Agent 9. Helena Pieska as young Katia. Zachary Quinto as John Smith, a high-ranking member of Syndicate Internationa. Ciarian Hinds as Dr. Litvenko, the founder of the Agent Program and Katia's father. Johannes Suhm as young Dr. Litvenko. Thomas Kretschmann as Antoine LeClerq, the chairman of an organization called Syndicate International. It is described as an international terrorist organization who are responsible for creating an army of unstoppable assassins in fighting against the ICA. Angelababy as Diana, the handler of Agent 47. Dan Bakkedahl as Sander. Emilio Rivera as Fabian, a member of Syndicate International. Rolf Kanies as Dr. Delriego/The Hunter. Jerry Hoffmann as Franco. It was released on August 21, 2015. Jim Gianopulos is the CEO  of 20th Century Fox. 20th Century Fox is famous for many movies such as X-men, Ice age, Drumline, Mr&Mrs Smith, Fantastic four and ect. It cost $24million to create Hitman. Hitman made $55.7million domestically. After reading the reviews, i have discovered that some people thought it was amazing and some people thought it was terrible.

The Target Audience: I think the target audience for Hitman: Agent 47 is for 15-35 year olds. Both genders but 60% males and 40% females.

Step 1: To create this image, I did two things. To colour in the fruit, i used the idropper tool to select colours from the images in the corner. I then used the magic wand tool to select what part of the image I wanted to fill in. After that, i used the bucket tool to colour in the selected area with the colours i chose.

Step 2: Then to create the parts of the image that have the notes in them, i copied the pictures. Then i clicked edit, paste special and paste into. This made the image appear, i then pressed ctrl+T to resize the image.

This relates to my theme expensive because  the British notes have been used to create this image. I also used the colours from the notes to fill in the fruit.

I think this image is good because it relates to the theme perfectly and the colours are vibrant and eye catching.
                                            Textual Analysis: Science Fiction.

Genre:

The first movie I have chosen is X-men, This movie was created in 2014 and was produced by
Chris Claremont and John Byrne. This movie is about how the X-Men send Wolverine to the past in a desperate effort to change history and prevent an event that results in doom for both humans and mutants. It fits into the sub genres of mutation, time travel and i also think dystopia because Wolverine is sent back in time to change things to better the future so that clearly means that something went wrong in the world.

Key Conventions:

This movie is set in the present and the past. I know this because Wolverine gets sent back in
time while the x-men stay in the present days  It deals with a dystopian future in which mutants are incarcerated in internment camps. An adult Kate Pryde transfers her mind into her younger self, the present-day Kitty Pryde, who brings the X-Men to prevent a  fatal moment in history that anti-mutant hysteria.                                                                      Alot of special effects are used in this movie to
 create explosions and more.

Target Audience:

This movie appeals to both male and female but i think it appeals to females (65%) more than males (35%). I think this because the lead character (Wolverine) is the protagonist and there is alot of action. The age range for this movie is about 12-30, The modern technology appeals to the younger generation because it is more fascinating and vibrant.

Genre:

The second movie i have chosen is Alien, this movie was crated in 1979 and was directed by Ridley Scott. This movie fits into the sub genre; Space because it is based in space. In the year 2122, the commercial spacecraft Nostromo is on a return trip to Earth with a seven-member crew in stasis. Detecting a mysterious transmission, possibly a distress signal, from a nearby planetoid, the ship's computer, MOTHER, awakens the crew. Under prior orders from their employers, the Nostromo lands on the planetoid and Captain Dallas, Executive Officer Kane, and Navigator Lambert head out to investigate. They discover the signal is coming from a derelict alien spacecraft. Inside, they find the remains of a large creature whose rib cage appears to have exploded from the inside.

Key Conventions:

I can tell that this movie is set in space because there are things such as; Aliens, astronauts
and spaceships involved. I know this movie is based in the present because no-one gets
sent into the future or past. I guess i would say that there is good vs evil in this movie, but it
depends on how you interpret it. It could be that the alien just attacks the humans for no
reason or it could be that the humans were invading the aliens space and the alien felt like it
had to protect itself.

Target Audience:

This movie appeals to both male and female equally. I think this because the astronauts are both female and male. The age range for this movie is about 12-20, i think the movie is abit of a sci-fi horror so it would appeal more to a younger age group.

Genre:

The final movie i have decided to analyse is The Hunger Games. This movie was created in 2012 and was produced byNina Jacobson. The hunger games is set in the future when America no longer exists, there's a country called Panem. With 12 Districts and a Capitol, 24 kids (A boy and a girl from every district) are forced to go to The Hunger Games, a fight for survival. It fits into the sub genre of Dystopia, this is because it represents a world that has gone wrong.

Key Conventions:

This movie has been set in the future. This is shown through the way America no longer exists and instead of states, they have districts. We know that there is new technology in this movie because it is set in the future and they have things that have not been invented yet. I also know that they used alot of special effects in this movie. For example: They used sfx to make Katniss Everdeen's (Main character) dress flare up like flames or when there were monkeys and thousands of bees trying to attack the candidates while being in the dome fighting for survival.

Target Audience:

This movie appeals to both male and female but i think it appeals to females (60%) more than males (40%). I think this because the lead character (Katniss Everdeen) is the protagonist whereas usually there is a male protagonist. The age range for this movie is about 12-20, i think the movie is very intriguing so it would capture alot of peoples attention. Also, the modern technology appeals to the younger generation.

Science Fiction Film Pitch

Your group members: Halimo, Zayna & Antoine

Key Details:

Film title: Lesbots take over.

Science Fiction sub-genre: Experimental science, Comedy, Dystopia.

Brief narrative (plot) - max 50 words: This film is based in Los Vegas (the city of sin). In the near future, scientists create human like female robots (Half lesbian, half straight). The lesbian and straight robots are forced to do things for the humans but the lesbian robots are treated more like slaves because homosexuality is not really accepted in LV. All the robots become fed up of being bossed around especially the lesbian ones. This causes them to start a war and the robots are trying to take over.

Budget breakdown

Director: We chose an a-list director. The reason for this is that the plot is quite complex and someone with alot of experience would be suitable. This will cost us $10m

Cast:  My group chose an A- list cast. This is because we believe that this is a very unique plot and alot of the celebrities in the hierarchy would be interested in starring in this movie. This would cost us $20m.

Filming locations: We chose our filming location to be in the USA, specifically in Los Vegas. This is because our movie is has lesbian robots and even though LGBT (Lesbian, Bisexual, Gay and Transgender) marriage has now been approved in the USA, Los Vegas is the city of sin. This will cost us $20m.

Cameras:

Editing: We decided to go with heavy CGI editing because It gives filmmakers greater control, and allows many effects to be accomplished more safely and convincingly and that is what we need because this movie is like a possible version of the future. This will cost us $5m

CGI/Special effects (SFX): For special effects, we chose futuristic version of earth

Sound:

Marketing:
My first HSBC image is based on opposite and same sex marriage, all representing love. I chose these images because they are all an example of two people who are intimate and feel like they have found their soul mates. Also because no matter if the couple are the same gender, Love Wins. I chose the word love because i feel like it best describes what the couples are feeling in the photos. You can clearly see from these images that the couples are happy with their partners. To improve this, i think i could make the text bold so the messages comes across clearer and i could of used an image of an old couple to show that no matter how long you are with some one, if you truly love them, you will always love them. I think my advert would appeal more to grown ups aged 18-40 and both females and males. I also think it would interest same sex couples because it is rare for homosexuality to be advertised.

To create this, i used adobe photoshop. I copy and pasted the images into the hsbc template. Once the image was up, i pressed Ctrl+T to create a box around the image so i could shape it how i desired. I did this process for all three images. After that, I clicked on the text box and i used layer 5 to type "Love". At first the colour was black and it didnt really fit, so i then changed the colour of the text to red and i think it goes well with the theme because red represents love.

My second HSBC image shows a black women who is a single mother, trying to find work, pay her rent and look after her child at once. I chose this image because black women are not always presented in the best way for example, in music videos they are not dressed appropriately and in movies sometimes they are always fighting or going out and do not take very much responsibility. I chose the words "Strength, Stuggle and Dedication" because single mothers go through alot on their own, they tend to work a few jobs to feed and cloth their child/children. They always stay strong so they can be the best possible mothers and they are dedicated to providing and nurturing and making sure their child/children grow up and dont make the same mistakes she did. To improve this, i could of made the image black and white to kind of show that the women is going through a dark time but there will be brighter days. I also could of used the colour yellow for the text because it represents hope and faith and light, which is what a single mother is. I think this advert appeals to young mothers 16-25 and definitely females because it shows how strong they are.

To create this image, i used adobe photoshop. I copy and pasted the images into the hsbc template. Like i did for the first template, i pressed Ctrl+T to create a box around the image so i could shape it how i desired. I did this process for all three images. Then i used the text box and used layer 8 to type the words "Strength" "Struggle" and "Dedication". I then changed the colour from black to red.

My final hsbc image shows Robin Hood and Daniel Pantaleo (a former american police officer who killed Eric Garner, who was selling cigarettes), i chose these two because Robin Hood, stole from the rich, which is committing a crime but he then gave it to the poor which was doing a good deed and the people saw him as a hero and Daniel killed a man who wasnt committing any serious crime, which is a felony but he was a police man, so to people who he helped during his time in work, he would of been seen as a hero.
